Has anyone hands on with the SPR22? Double rifle manufactured in Baikal Russia. They should have been out about a year now. Ive got a "want only" going on and wonder if anyone has shot it, 30-06 or the 45-70. Has it been drilled and tapped for scoping?
I know you get what you pay for but I dont have a spare $15K laying around and am wondering if I can hit under a 2" group at 100 for under $600.00
I could really use some user feedback.

These are on Remingtons Vaporware list, their marketing people have been taking lessons from Microsoft sales poeple. We actually had a group buy set up on another forum, but after 9 months of "next quarter" we finally gave up. I think the latest they told us was "by the end of the year we hope".

Thanks BG
Just checked my wholesaler website and guess what.....Not available.
It was the first time I saw it listed in my wholesaler catalogs and assumed they had it in stock. not!
To make a double rifle with both barrels hitting the same spot (within 2-3") for under $600.00 would be quite a chore. I understand that it involves a lot of soldering and un-soldering of the barrels and rib until its right. I think that is why the big bucks doubles are so darn expensive.
I'm thinking somebody bit off more than they can chew.

Hello gentlemen.

The (now) SPR22 had been imported by EAA, and according to their web site (back when they were marketing it), one sights in one of the two barrels and then uses some kind of screw adjustment to regulate the second barrel to the same point of impact as the first.
