I have not fired my S&W model 25 in quite some time. It resides in the safe with other little used guns. The other day I thought I'd take it for the range for fun. On closer inspection, there was a spot of oxidation on one of the cylinder flutes. About a quarter inch in diameter. I put some Rem oil on it and rubbed it, which removed most of the rust but left a stain. What's the best way to deal with this?
