Well, while trying to remove my rear sight using a sight removal tool, I managed to bend the slide. I think the bloody rear sight was welded on. I'm peeved at myself, but it is done.

Anyway, does anyone have a tip on where I can purchase just the 92FS 9mm slide? I've done searches on Google, but no luck.

no, there are none, and i had to take a small sledge and a brave friends hand to move my rear right, could i perhaps see a pic of this?

Numrich show them in stock for $206.70.

I'de try posting a want ad in the BerettaForum.net site before paying that much for a new one and hopefully get a nice used one cheaper.

Found this off an older ad on the BerrtaForum.net site....he might still have it $175.

Sheldon, thanks a bunch for the links and info!

Brian, it's not a visible bend in the slide, it's just enough of a bend to not go on the frame without forcing it.

You probably already know this, but European dovetails go in and out on the left side, not on the right like US pistols.

IMHO Beretta 92FS sights are incorrectly installed at the factory. I still need to drift mine as it shoots 1" to the left @ 7-12 yards.

Kurt, trust me, I tried to get them out both ways. I did a lot of research on the correct removal of the 92FS rear sight, but the SOB would not move either bloody way...even with a sight removal tool. :cuss:
