As a two-time former resident of CA, I am watching this race with interest.

Have any of the candidates said anything on RKBA issues?

I read the "Feinswine calling on Arnold to denounce Assault Weapons in Movies while pointing an AK at Gray Davis" thread. She's not a candidate (thank Heaven).

What I mean is, have any of the candidates emerged as a better friend of RKBA than any other candidate? Or will this election likely leave CA as extreme as it is now on gun issues?

McClintock supposedly is in good standing with the NRA/CRPA (?) FWIW.

It seems the Conservatives are backing Schwarzenegger (sp?) for his economics even if he's a little centrist or even liberal on social stuff. They're saying that 'social issues' won't be an issue as we're focusing on economics right now, but I'd have to disagree. With the :cuss:bags in our legislature pushing gun stuff for the fun of it, I don't want a governor to sign it, even if he's focusing on economics.

Who cares about money when civil rights are at stake? Unfortunately most of the state conservatives see it the other way around.
