Hello all, I bought a "small ammo box full of mostly 9mm ammunition", to quote the description, and they were right, it is mostly 9mm, but I have some strange ones and these other rounds with "REM-UMC 30 LUGER" on the headstamp. Don't believe I have ever heard of 30 cal. Luger, any thoughts? I also found a few rounds of what appears to be steel bullets, in brass cases. Yes, it is magnetic, and the head stamp has a pair of numbers and figures. For example, in clockwise order, '1, 50, triangle, six-point star'. Then there is quite a bit of "PS 1952" FMJ; and a bunch of "W-W 9 mm LUGER" with a plain lead flat nose bullet. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and offers welcome as soon as any value (if any) is established. Thank you all so much!

okay, found one

I found the answer to the 30 luger- 7.65x21. guess I should have looked a little more first.....duh

.30 Luger is 7.65x22, the original caliber for the pistol.

I have not seen a FACTORY 9mm with a plain lead flat nose bullet and would assume those were reloads.

I don't know about the other headstamps but somebody here might have the book or www on them.
