Ruger 10/22 20inch Standard Barrel

Does anyone know if Ruger discontinued this model? They don't have it on there website and Impact Guns does not list it either. I have the Standard issue 10/22 with the 16inch barrel and was considering getting a second one with the 20inch standard barrel. Thanks.

The standard 10/22 barrel length is 18 1/2" but I seem to remember seeing a different style stock in some advertisements a few years ago. If the barrel was 20" on that gun I was never aware of it. I have never seen one of these in person, and they may have been dropped. Ruger does make a special edition sold only at Walmart with a stainless 22" barrel if you want something longer. This is a really nice rifle. The stock is styled just like the Deluxe version with nice checkering and no barrel band. My 2 kids each got one for Christmas abour 5 years ago.

I am only aware of factory Ruger 10/22's coming with three barrel lengths:

- 18.5 inch standard barrel.
- 20 inch heavy target barrel.
- 22 inch standard barrel

Walmart carries the 22 inch standard barrel. If I recall, Ruger distributes these long barreled 10/22's only to Walmart:

Thanks you. It was the 22inch I saw at a gun store about a year ago. It was very nice and no barrel band.

Of course there is the 16.125" on the CRR model for smaller folks. My wife shoots one and I am contemplating one just to put a folding comp. stock on it, makes for a nice little truck gun with the shorter barrel for sure.

There was also the 10/22 RR rifle with a 20" standard barrel:

The Wal-mart rifle is stainless and the stock is checkered. If it was a blued rifle then it was probably the 10/22 RR. This rifle was only made for a year or two before it was discontinued.

I got a really nice Ruger 10/22 from Wal-Mart about a week ago. Its a walnut stock with 22" stainless steel barrel. I paid $236 for it which I didn't think was too out of line. I have been told that this is a Wal-Mart exclusive. It's the best 10/22 that I have seen hands down. I really like it a lot, I went out and put a couple hundred rounds through mine yesterday and it performed quite well. Not 20", but an extra 2" can't hurt anything!
