I need to sell some of my shooting irons to finance aircraft parts.
One rifle I don't have a huge reason to own is a stainless Ruger 77/22 Hornet that i obtained in a trade a few years back. Laminated stock

I glass bedded the action and the barrel channel and that really made it accurate. It has a tasco 12-24 power scope, a set of dies and about 250 rounds of brass.

What does the peanut gallery think a reason sale price would be... ???

The rifle would be worth between $500-$600 and the dies and brass will add about $75-$100. The scope adds very little value because Tasco are not highly valued scopes, especially used. Customizing, like you did with accurizing won't usually add to resale value unless someone can shoot it to experience the accuracy first hand. Awhile back I was looking for a .22 Hornet at a gun show and found 2 like the one you have. One had a ding or 2 and the guy was asking $550. Another guy had one that looked nearly new and he wanted $650 and said he would take an offer. My guess was he would have taken $600. I was holding out for an Anschutz so didn't buy either one. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks for the info... I like the 22 Hornet for how much zap it gives for so little noise and powder burned. I have a couple other shootin irons that hopefully sell first.
