Hi all,
Anyone have experience with S&K scout-type scope mounts?
I have a 24/47 that I really like - not perfect condition but still looks great. The problem is I can't hit a thing with it. My first range session was at 50 yrds - I was holding low/right quadrant of the target and hitting upper left (quite high).
Next time was 100 yrds and in my first 10 rds I think I hit paper once. So I held bottom of the paper and managed to put a few holes on the upper left.
Bore is shiny, crown looks good, so overall the rifle looks to be in great shape.
Part of the problem is my eyesight is terrible at that range to begin with. But I know the sights are way off. So I found S&K website that has mounts that don't require modifications to the bolt handle, etc.
Anybody use one? How's the quality? Hold zero ok?
