S&W 610 in-bound

All,

Just put up money for a S&W 610. I went w/ the 4" barrel for practicality. I'm sure I'll want the 6.5" after I've had the four for a while; grass is always greener right?

I'll post a review once I receive it, accuracy/chrono data with both 40S&W and 10mm.

On an unrelated note, pawn shop near me has a 6" 686-1 that looks to be in great shape (95%) for $399. Should I go into debt for that one?!

I love my 6.5" 610 and want to get another in the same barrel length but I'm waiting for the State of California to get it on the "approved safety list" so I can get another. I use mine specifically for USPSA Revolver division.. and want a backup. You should look at getting some RIMZ polymer moon clips. No tools neccesary to add and remove the cartridges unlike some of the other steel moon clips. I use them for competition also and like their rigidity.. though when I drop them I don't fear someone stepping on them and ruining them like they used to with my steel clips.

The 6.5" can be very accurate. Here are the first 50 shots out of my 6.5 at 15 yards offhand. Great gun. You should be pleased.
