I’m thinking of purchasing a DSA Inc. - SA58/FAL Carbine - .308 Win. Does anyone have any info about these? If you have one how does it group at 100 yards? Also I’m thinking about their extreme duty scope mount (1913 picatinny rail). Will an Eotech fit on this rail? Are they the same as a weaver rail? Any info would be appreciated.

Normally, I would recommend that you visit falfiles.com and check out all the info there; however, the files are down until late Thursday for relocation to a new server.

The DSA SA58 Carbine has a good reputation. I'm sure that you will be happy with it.

I have no experience with the scope mount. Sorry.

Enjoy the rifle.

I did a search on this forum and think I found the answer to my questions. Thanks

The 249 pistol grip, as varoadking has picture on his FAL, has also made my FALs a bit more confortable to handle. The stock FAL grips having too much rake for my tastes.

DSA's mount has a good rep. The Eotech will work well on it. Get it and post a review with lots of pics. Are you looking for the 16" or 18" barrel? Also, if you have the option, get it with the barrel threaded. That way you can use your choice of muzzle device. The DSA muzzle brake is effective but some say it is much louder than a good flash suppressor.
