Has anybody used some from this batch?
There is usually a very good reason why such ammo is only about .30/round. Until it sold out weeks ago, Samco's surplus 7mm was priced at just .22/rd.

Even though I have a decent heap of Czech/Rom./"Yugo" 8mm, that Iranian ammo must have either lots of duds, or misfires & hang-fires.

I haven't used it, but if it's the same "Iranian" 8mm as currently pictured in wooden cases on their website, I researched it pretty thoroughly a year or so ago when I was looking for 8mm surplus, right about the time that most of the 8mm dried up. I found a lot of strongly negative reviews from people who had bought some and tried it. The Yugo surplus that was also available at the time received very positive reviews, but I'm not sure if any of that is still showing up these days, or not. I know that SOG had some at about $.23/round up until late last year, but they're not showing any now.

Just out of wonderment what do 8mm projectiles alone go for these days?

Might this ammo be worth while to salvage the bullets from?

Shades of 7.35 Carcano in the 1960s........

8mm bullets go for about the same as .30 pellets. We've been buying 150?gr Hornady with good results. They cost the same as the .30 cal that I buy.
