Thanks to help from user bds (here on the forum), I've been trying to build some economical target loads. I'm shooting X-Treme 9mm RN 115gr Plated bullets. I went to my local LGS in search of some HP-38 but they were compeltely out.
Instead, I bought some TiteGroup (which I've read good things about) to try on these reloads. Based on data from the Hodgdon website, I loaded five rounds of four different amounts of powder w/ TiteGroup: 4.0gr, 4.1gr, 4.2gr, and 4.3gr. OAS for all rounds is 1.135" (slightly longer than the 1.10" suggested in the data, but I heard it feeds better in my Glock at 1.135").
115 GR. LRN Hodgdon Titegroup .356" 1.100" 3.9 1075 25,800 CUP 4.3 1151 30,500 CUP
115 GR. SPR GDHP Hodgdon Titegroup .355" 1.125" 4.5 1135 29,500 CUP 4.8 1158 30,500 CUP
Think I'm all set to go to the range and test?
