Not related to what you're looking for, but do Savage wood stocks suck like savage composite stocks?

I believe Savage uses Boyd's stocks on their wood models. Boyd's is good to go. The reason the synthetic stocks are so crappy is because Savage pays $20-30 for each stock. Nuff said.
