Hello,

I wasn't sure where to post this but figured here would be most appropriate.

I have accumulated a variety of live and spent shotshells over the years, many are very old and interesting but likely won't ever be shot, others are just run-of-the-mill new production. They vary in size/gauge, color, brand, age, condition, etc. and some would make for a good visual conversation pieces if I could find a way to display them neatly and clearly enough for others to see.

I briefly searched the internet for a case specific to this purpose and couldn't find anything that looked like what I had in mind. Amazon has this: https://www.amazon.com/MTM-CBD-1-40-Cartridge-Display-Board/dp/B001UPT03M but it isn't specifically for shotshells and as a result would have a lot of empty/wasted space. It doesn't look like that case could easily be modified, either, but I'll have to look at it more closely.

I did find a couple sources of inspiration via Google images that are closer to what I had in mind, but they don't appear to be for sale anywhere that I could find. I have attached them as images to this post. Ideally, I'd like something where I don't have to use glue or other adhesives because they could permanently damage some of the older shells. I'd also like to be able to rearrange and add/remove shells to my liking as I am always accumulating shells.

So I guess my question is: Has anyone displayed shotshells in a case before? If so, I would love to see a picture of your display case, as well as where you got it from, or if you made it yourself, how you made it, and what you used for materials. I feel like to get exactly what I want, I may need to try and make a case myself, or have someone make one for me, though I'm neither a carpenter/artsy person, nor looking to spend a fortune on a custom-made piece.

Thanks!
