I bought a Simmons Whitetail Classic scope about 10 years ago. Not the greatest scope in the world but sufficient for what I needed it for at the time.
Well about two months ago I put it on my M1A1 because the iron sights turned fuzzy all of a sudden? Well the elevation knob fell off after three shots. Been working fine on other guns.
Sent back to Meade Instruments after calling them and finding out the scope had a lifetime warrenty.
After about three weeks I had forgotten about the scope when a package arrived from Meade Intsruments.
The packge contained a brand new AETEC 2.8 x 10 Scope!!!!
Meade/ Simmons am alright by me.
