I really do like my Ruger BH Convertable 45acp/LC. If you can find one, I also like the old 70's BH .357's. I shoot my '72 a lot.
I cast my lot in with the Ruger crowd as well. For the price point I dont think the quality could be beat. I also have a Uberti 1851 Navy that a hoot.It's hard to beat a Ruger Vaquero for reliability versus cost. They're very strong guns.
How about a Ruger Single Six for just having fun? Cheap to shoot.
