I own several sns guns there fun to collect and shoot my first gun ever was a davis 380 in chrome which is the same gun as the cobra 380. It does ok with a polished ramp and good oiling as with most sns guns. Just inspect it thoroughly every 50 rds or so there known for cracked slides.

I like others would sugest the steel framed KAHR's, the H&K P7 might also fit your idea of nice looking.

Also remember if you like the basic look of a certain pistol you can always have it finished how ever YOU like it.

Look around on fordsguns.com you will get some ideas.

Then Dad bought a Colt 45 auto!!! (I never called them a 1911 until a second mfgr started making the darned thing)

You do know when that happened, right?
I'm not sure of the exact but it was before 1914 I know.

Well sure, just we wuz stupid that way and called them 45 autos. Some were WWI Colts, as were the old Springfields, most were WWII Colts w/a few Rem Rands, Ithacas, etc. Even saw a US&S once or twice. New commercial .45s were all Colt Govt or Commanders. Saw my 1st Argentine Sistema back in the late 60s?!?! Who knew? The Norwegians too?!

Once Kimber and the new Springfield Armory Inc started making them for commercial sales, that was when I first recall hearing different names and numbers. ;)

Like I said, we wuz stupid that way back in the day (speaking for myself only). I have since learnt the errors o' my ways, and they are legion. :D

Pretty and, IMO, very fun to shoot little gun. Also very concealable.

Or, if you want stainless:
