Actually, not bad to shoot. I fired a box of CorBon, 300 grain I believe, in a S&W 500 w/o the compensator.

A handfull but not uncomfortable.

It is actually a lot of fun to shoot the 500 Mag. The only time the paramedics need to be called is if you are on the business side of it. lol

That was my point it's the least you could do as a good citizen, lol.

You may want to shorten that barrel just a tad to make it CCW worthy.:what:

Gunkwazy,

is that your gun, that's an absolute, utter beauty, I'm just being envious, envious all the way for all that engraved steel and terrific lumber. Please do not take offence but conceal carry is a waste for that. Why cruelly deprive the world of such an awesome sight??

My only doubt about that classy piece being the 5" barrel, not magnifying an already conspicuos recoil??

Tonite I just read the 460XVR has been allowed for importation in Italy also in its 5" and 8.38" barrel versions.

That's simply great, because, in all honesty, the PC version looked a little uglish to me, no offence meant for the proud owners of such a valuable item.

I love the 8.38" barrel with muzzle port, a big, brawny, buzomy beauty which makes me absolutely drool...

No undernourished, skin & bone top models allowed here!!

Yes and thank you.
Polished by hand by me and engraved by a local engraver also done all by hand the old way. Vernon must be about 90 years old by now and still does incredible work.

Thanks again, Jeff (GUNKWAZY)

FYI: It was a shooter and I retired it after the custom work was done.

mc_coy that gun that GUNKWAZY has a pic of is a 4 inch S&W 500 Mag. I have the same gun but not with all the engraving.

GUNKWAZY, that is one good looking S&W you got there.
