Snagged a G19

Went to a small gun show saturday and picked up a used Glock 19 with two mags and night sights. Got it for $385. The night sights are not real bright anymore but will be okay for now. Whoever had it did not clean it very much if at all.

I don't know anything about Glocks and really didn't even like them until recently. Is there a website I can go to find out when it was made? I think it is and older pistol.

I going to clean it up tonight and try and make it to the range tomorrow evening for a test run.

You have a nice little pistol there a well proven one its small reliable lightweight and durable.
The main thing I tell new Glock owners is to constantly watch where you keep your trigger finger until you are actually shooting it as many people have had a ND by putting the finger inside the trigger guard before they want or need to shoot.
For an interesting read check into the torture test Chuck Taylor did on a Glock 17.
Advantage Arms and IIRC Ceiner both offer .22 conversion kits for cheaper practice.
One place to get some good info is www.glocktalk.com allot of good info, some not so good and some bs once in a while but well worth signing up for or browsing.

Many consider the G19 to be the most accurate of all Glocks. I personally agree. I own 4 Glocks, and am most accurate with the G19. Its perfect size and ergonomics are splendid. I am actually less accurate with the G17 and G22 than I am with the G19. Its a great buy. Congratulations.

congrats on the glock, 19's are my favorite for sure. i had one and kick myself for getting rid of it, i will defiently be getting me another one though. so what generation is it? thanks

The G19 is my favorite & most accurate Glock as well (vs. the G17, G20, G29, and G23 I also own/have owned).
