Suggested defense loads for Kahr PM9?

This topic has been around a long time, but will probably never go away as new ammo formulations are always popping up.

Anyway... I'm interested in hearing what the more knowledgable folks feel are the most effective defense rounds for the pocket nine pistols (Kahr PM9 and Colt Pocket Nine).

For short barreled 9mm's I like ProLoad PL9T1 or Speer #53614 (115 @ 1200 fps) and Speer #53618 (124 @ 1150), but everyone will have opinions. Some of the controlled expansion bullets don't do very well from short barrels.

I carry 125gr Speer +P Gold Dots in mine.
It is very accurate in my gun, and they get good results in gel tests.
