Suggestions for Sar-1, red dot and rail?

Im looking for a red dot scope and a rail for my sar-1 "sound mount rail".Can anyone suggest somethign that isnt to much money..Just plinking around with it but do want a red dot.Thanks for any suggestions

I ment to type side mount rail..It wont let me change it now ..

the rail is around 20$ from most places and a weaver mount to go on it is around 40$.

as for cheap red dots i just got a 150$ kobra and avoided all the headaches of cheaper red dots. from what i hear bushnell makes a good 60-70$ red dot that will hold a zero better than the cheaper ones.

but add the 60-70$ to the cost of the rail and you're almost at a kobra.

ASSuming your SAR-1 has the rail on the left side of the receiver, you can try to find a Kobra sight. An alternative would be CDNN's Weaver mount for about $40 plus something like a Bushnell or Millett red dot sight.

I am looking at some of the sights carried by Freedom Optics for my Saiga, which has the same rail as the SAR-1s. (http://www.freedomoptics.com.)
