Hey all. Can someone please help me out in locating a leather vertical shoulder holster for a Smiff 686 6"? I have done a few google searches and turned up some nylon ones and others that were priced at like 50 bucks or under... Im lookin for a quality leather dirty harry type of deal (under 200$ preferably) thanks for any replies!

I really hate to tell you this.

But you ain't Dirty Harry, and probably are not tall enough to comfortably carry a 6" revolver in a shoulder holster.

It just won't work for most of us under 6' 4" like Clint Eastwood.

I was 5' 7", before shrinking to 5' 6" in old age.
I tried it long ago with a 6" Model 19.

And it didn't work then.
And it works worse now.

Well im 6'2" and have a decent frame with no intentions of being clint eastwood. This would be for the woods not concealed carry. I own a belt holster and feel it gets in the way at times. Just thought id try the shoulder holster route.

^ I just got my Bianchi x15 and the muzzle end sits about a half inch below my belt. It is comfortable and, to my suprise, easily conceals under a flannel button up shirt and disappears under a light coat.
