Nothing wrong with Just-in-time inventory, but I have heard bad things about Kel-tec quality control on a number of their products.

I'm not a handgun guy,but thinking about it.A friend bought a Keltec 9mm two years ago.I don't know which model.Its small,I could cover it with my hand.He takes evening walks in the country side near home.On these walks he has shot and killed 4 groundhogs with it.No malfunctions.

My take on KelTec is that they make innovative, affordable products, that fill a niche. If they are not available when you want to buy, what have you lost? I really like my SU-16C. When I lived in "Crook", I mean Cook co. Il (Chicago) ARs where banned, the SU was legal. I have 7K rounds thru her and no complaints. Two minor problems which KT fixed right away, for free. 4.5 lbs, 25" OAL firing with stock folded, 30 rds 5.56mm, and decent accuracy. It's not an AR, but a Glock isn't a 1911.
