From what I gather Swedish Mauser is an excellent long range rifle accurate out to 600 yards. I am not interested in hunting just having a rifle I could develop long range shooting skills with. Is the rifle I am presenting in this add perceived as a good value? Is there an aftermarket left handed stock available?
Sporterized Swedish Mauser – 6.5x55
Based on Carl Gustaf M38 carbine. Good overall shape, with strong bluing.
This was sporterized before I got it. Numbers on the receiver and bolt match, floorplate does not. Leupold 1-piece base & rings, Charles Daly (by Weaver) 4x scope. I added a Boyd’s drop-in trigger, but still have the orig. trigger parts.
$350 OBO
If the buyer reloads, I’ve got the following also for sale for an additional $100:
Lee 3-die 6.5x55 set
100 once fired Winchester brass
20 twice fired PMC brass
80 Speer 140 gr. SP Spitzer
80 Hornady 160 gr. RN
60 Sierra 140 gr. Spitzer BT
80 Sierra 140 gr. HPBT Match
80 Sierra 142 gr. HPBT Match
I’ll only sell the reloading items separately if the buyer of the rifle does not want them.
