hi all.

i have a taurus model 85CH (concieled hammer) in s/s, the older model. i recently bought a taurus model 85 ultralite. the weapon is awesome, it feels almost half the weight of the older model. my question is this.

the newer ultralite will take over the job of concieled carry, unfortunately the ultralite has an exposed type hammer and not concieled as the older model i own. i did buy the taurus because this particular weapon was sold used and at a brilliant price. my question is. are the hammers interchangable between the older model 85CH and the newer model 85 ultralite???

if so then i want to swop the two hammers between the two firearms. they appear to be ideantical dimensions, i am hoping that the part are identical as well for fit, aside from one being a spurred hammer and the other concieled type.

thanks for your input, i live in South Africa, so part availability is not that great, and this option would work best as i now own both revolvers...

thanks for your time
