TFL/THR Shoot at FAS for OR and WA shooters

Shortly before TFL went dormant, there was a post suggesting that the OR and WA TFL'ers get together at Fireams Academy of Seattle for a friendly shoot. Marty suggested March 2nd as he has a shoot planned for that day anyway.

Does anyone know if this is still on? I mentioned it to a few friends and they are all excited to go!

I went to one shoot at FAS and really enjoyed it! However I don't remember what the entry cost was and how many rounds we should take?

Yeah, Marty suggested 3/2, but I'm unaware if anyone has taken the ball and run with it, to organize the whole thing.

If I'm in town on 3/2 I intend to be there.

FAS, which is a superb range complex, is near Chehalis. It's almost a 100 miles exactly from my driveway here in Port Orchard. Roughly a 1 1/2 to 2 hour drive from here.

Anyone who doesn't know where to go, perhaps we can assemble at a rest stop on I-5 or something and caravan from there to FAS.

I intend to be there!

The date is March 2nd. Cost is $15. Registration starts at 9 am, shooting starts at 10 am. Bring a sack lunch; the match usually goes until mid afternoon.

The competition is usually quite laid back and relaxed, so even if competition isn't your 'thing,' you could come and meet us all anyway. No prizes other than bragging rights are usually awarded. Observers are welcome.

DIRECTIONS TO FAS RANGE

FAS is near Chehalis/Centralia, and east of I-5.

From I-5, take exit 71 (Hwy 508) and turn east (away from Napavine, towards Onalaska).

Go about 13 miles east on Hwy 508, which will take you through the almost-nonexistent town of Onalaska.

Turn left on Centralia-Alpha road. It is just past mile marker 13. About 1/4 mile after you turn onto it, the road will take a sharp left turn and head up a hill. Don't get fooled into going straight onto Pigeon Springs Road; follow Centralia-Alpha up the hill to the left.

Go about ... ummmm ... well, less than 2 miles anyway, on Centralia-Alpha. Might be about a mile.

FAS is at the end of the UNMARKED driveway between the Alpha Grange and Noble Acres Tree Farm. The turn will be on your right. (Noble Acres is at 3401 Centralia-Alpha Rd and has a large sign. The Grange building is large and white and has a small sign. The FAS driveway runs along the right edge of the grange building and loops to the left after that.)
