While scooting around the 'net trying to get my fix during one of THR's recent outages I found a NZ based hunting and fishing forum (a silver lining from this particular cloud). On this forum are some mad keen pighunters and here in NZ most pighunting is done with dogs and knives ... no guns. Now I know that a lot of US hunters are a little sceptical of these pighunting methods, so I thought I'd link in a story or two for your entertainment and edification.
While its true that the pig often ends up dead (and there are some large and nasty looking pigs roaming about in the wilds of NZ) sometimes the pig gets in a few good shots first.
Just thought y'all might be interested in seeing the photos and story of one pig hunting trip where the author took his 8 year old daughter out with him.
