I have a chance to buy a Norinco Tokarev 213 9mm version for $140. Thoughts? Opinions? In not familiar with the Russian pistols. Are they good shooters, will they last for a while. Basically what do y'all think?
Assuming there's nothing wrong with it I'd snap it up in a heartbeat. I have one of the Chinese ones and they're cool little blasters. Any chance the seller has a 7.62 x 25 barrel kicking around? The Tok shines with that round IMO.
The 213/Model 54-1 is strictly 9mm. A 7.62 barrel cannot be installed in this dedicated 9mm gun. The 7.62 pistol can have a 9mm barrel (which can be made into a 9x23 and loaded as hot as you can get it with no problems- the 9mm version is just as strong and can handle the hottest of the hot 9mm loads. You can't break this primitive/high tech Browning pattern pistol)
