I have a Kahr cw9 that I pocket carry frequently. I have no problem doing this while wearing cargo shorts but it's too big for my wranglers pockets. I find myself tempted by Kahr's new cm9. On the other hand I could save some money and go for a p3at for when my cw9 is too bulky. Cm9 or p3at? That is the question!

Unless you're wearing emo skinny jeans or cowboy wranglers (sound like you don't) pay a few extra bucks, buy a CM9, and stick with the better 9mm caliber.

The thing I don't understand about this whole pocket .380 rage (and there are some very good ones) is with the PM9/CM9 and a few of its competitors, I find there are VERY FEW situations where you can carry a P3AT sized gun but NOT a PM9 sized gun. Very lightweight board shorts, bathing suits, and VERY tight jeans.

I think that's what I'll do. That p3at is awfully tiny though. As funds allow, a 1911 would be fun too but that's for another day.

If you are looking at small surplus guns, give the p64 a look. Not very light, but is a fine firearm

If you buy the P3AT, you will ALWAYS be able to conceal/carry regardless of what you have to wear to work or church. That's the main benefit of that little gun, imo. It's nice to know you can always carry a gun, no matter the dress code.

Practice a lot with it, though. It's got a Heavy trigger pull, and it's light so it will jump when it fires.

Get a better belt holster instead. Look at Crossbreed and Ravens.

Deosn't all that weight in your pants get annoying? (Nobody better dare to quote that)

When I walk with just a Kahr p380 in my cargo pocket, it's pretty obvious that something heavy is swinging in my pants. (don't even think about it.)

Yea, I definitely know its there. I can always say; "No, I'm not happy to see you, it's a gun." :) I have had issues with back spasms when carrying behind my strong side hip. Appendix carry is ok but a pain when I sit. P3at or bg 380 seem perfect minus the expensive and weak ammo. As I type this I am sitting at the dealership service center with my s&w 442 in my front pocket. If I get the cm9 my cw9 will probably get traded or dusty. Like I said. What a great problem to have, too many great carry options. Life is good:)
