Greetings all!
I have a question that internet research hasn't answered. I would like to know about the legality of transporting an unloaded revolver, in a holster, in a backpack, in the cab of my truck (behind the front seats). I have found nothing that would suggest this is illegal, but would like someone to confirm that. Also, if my revolver is unloaded, holstered, in a pack, and behind the front seats, can I legally keep a loaded speedloader, say, or a box of ammo in the center console?
All of the searches I've done just turn up the laws about transporting loaded handguns, or for places like Portland, that you can't have loaded magazines either. Would a speedloader be counted as a magazine for that?
I'm pretty sure that everything I've asked about is legal, at least on a state level, only because I can't find anything that says otherwise.
Any help is helpful!
Thanks,
Josh
