Out of the box, is the trigger pull/feel different between the CZ75b and CZ75 SP-01? I wasn't particularly fond of the Cz-75b trigger, and was wondering if the SP-01 version is any better. Also I read conflicting info on whether or not the SP-01 has ambidextrous safety controls. Any other improvements on the SP-01 aside from the rail?

I held one the other day

They are pretty front heavy and not as balanced as I thought it would be. The trigger felt better than my PO1 but not much. Not sure on the safety the on I saw had it one the "normal" side

The trigger shape on the SP-01 has a better contour to it, but it is muzzle heavy. Not very ideal in my opinion for anything other than range work. The standard CZ 75 has a much better balance and I think it is still the best overall CZ. The CZ 75b stainless has the same contoured trigger of the P-01 and the SP-01.

New CZs have rough/gritty triggers, so don't compare an out of the box CZ to one that is broken in. You need to put a few hundred rounds downrange and dry fire it a bunch(with snap caps) in order for the trigger pull to get nice and smooth.
