Picked up two new rifles today, one very old and one very new. A Mosin Nagant 91/30, mfg date 1939 according to the receiver. Looks like it was Izhevsk arsenal, couldn't tell you if/when it was rearsenaled. It's got the spliced stock near the forend, and looks to be in good condition. I'll give a range report once I've had the opportunity to clean the cosmoline out and do safety checks. The other is a CZ 527 carbine in 7.62x39. It's light and handy, action is smooth and goes to my shoulder very well.
