These are some of the folks that volunteered at NASC to promote our right to knives. They're all knife makers in N. Georgia that took the time to show up Tuesday and Wednesday to spend all day at the grinder with state legislators from across the country showing them how to put an edge on a knife and promoting our rights. The owner of Knife Kits was there and provided the grinders that Burr King had loaned KR for this and Nick "Knot King" from SMKW helped me show the politicians how to cord wrap the handles of the knives Ka-Bar provided for the purpose.
The guy in the logo shirt is Doug Ritter, the head of Knife Rights, the gentleman who's vision was for a grassroots organization to fight ridiculous knife restrictions and since one didn't exist he built one. Thanks to Doug, Sue and their professional lobbyist Tod Rathner and the volunteers like me and the guys in that picture and companies like Knife Kits and Kabar, restrictions on our right to own and carry knives have been rolled back and attempts to put new restrictions in place have been blocked.
