The P99C comes in a DAO version, but I have never seen one or heard of anyone who owned one. But it is a configuration that Walther produces. My guess is that they would be hard to find (= $$$$).
The decocker is only on the left side of the pistol. It is a recessed button that you depress, not a lever through the slide like on a Beretta. Ambi decocker is not an option on any P99.
Probably - the decocker is a "push-button" built into the TOP of the slide. It faces top and left, is easily accesible from the top. It is a 2 hand operation anyway. Slide drop could still be a "lefty" issue though.
I think that the dao and sa(safe action) are made. not sure about the sa/da, though, which is my favorite. I want a p99c badly, prob sell my taurus mil pro at some point and get one. do you want a dao, that would be my last pick.
Decocking is a two handed operation anyways, and you will not be doing it in "the heat of battle". I "sling shot" my slides, so the left-side placement of the slide release isn't a problem wither.
The mag release is on both sides, so you can change mags equally.
