This is not my rifle, wish it was. I've been following the project since it's inception and thought folks here would get a kick out of it. Not my rifle!

The 12ga from Hell is up and running. Even though my shoulder is a wreck, I'm thinking of building a low pressure version for myself.

The details can be found on the Accurate Reloading forums http://forums.accuratereloading.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/4711043/m/984107573/p/1

2000gr bullet? 1545 fps? NO MUZZLE BRAKE? :scrutiny:  :what:

Don't tell the antis, their brains will be sucked out of their heads just thinking about it.

I was under the impression that they loaded a 2000 grain bullet at that velocity.

Rob's pretty sure he can get a 2000 grainer up to 2000 fps. He's looking for human test subjects.

Naw, the Tyranosaur gun was already built... The .577 Tyranosaur. This looks more like a Brontosaurus Buster to me. :what:

Scroll about 3/4 of the way down the first page of that thread: Rob (builder) posted a correction to the gun's weight. 25 lb, not 28. Said he misread the scale because of retinal detachment.

Connection? Nah...

SAAAAWWWEEEEEETTTTT JEEEBBBUSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:what:

I would just like to say that I am comfortable enough with my manliness to say that, that gun is way way too much gun for the likes of me.

"It's an 88 Magnum. It shoots through schools." Doesn't even begin to do it justice.

God I love America. :D

A little update:

It seems that they have done a little more load development and now have 750gr brass solids up to 3000fps. In addition there is some information about the second gun on a modified Savage 210 Action. Full data and case forming details (with pictures) all on this thread.

No, that is only if the bullet misses real close. :D
