Oh, I forgot about the Crimson Trace grips.
I'm really pleased with them, but I hesitate to say they really work as I haven't had a real self-defense situation. And I'm not planning on having one.
I believe the ads aren't misleading. I can acquire a target in everything but full sunlight much faster. Follow-up shots are faster, too.
I still practice with the iron sights, of course. As their ads say, you don't have to give up the old capabilities -- you've just added some new ones.
