Did you at least get to enjoy our amazing array of dead animals?

Actually no, I only had coffee and spent the majority of the time in the "smoking room", I used to smoke.

Redundancy is something I believe in.
It was how I was mentored.

oh begeeze.. thats alotta redundancy, but again, My guns are mostly wall decorations and range toys. but I do practice something similar but with shopping for clothing and food, If I find something that I like and fits well I buy 4-10 of the exact same thing. I got 10 same black crewneck sweaters. 10 same blue dress shirts.. etc...

Ruger KP90DC

hmm, theres one on gunbroker, seems kinda ordiary...

Save your money and get the 1911. There is nothing more fun to shoot then a nice one. Maybe sell the gun you shoot the least to get it? Expecially if you can buy .45 at $11 for 50 rounds. I wish I could find 45 at that price.

Or make it a project and start cheap and build it. If you're into that sort of thing.

A K or N frame S&W would also be a good choice. It might be another .38 but it would be a lot different to shoot.

45 at $11 for 50 rounds. I wish I could find 45 at that price.

you can find it at wideners dot com. they are the blazers though, of course I dont reload so I like blazers..

You bring up a valid point in the "I don't reload". An easy $400 spent in that direction would set you reloading for life. I shoot (using lead bullets... DON'T SHOOT LEAD IN YOUR STOCK GLOCK BARREL!!!!) for half price per box.

On to gun selections: 1911 is my recommendation. The taurus goes for ~$550 brand new. So, if you like your Taurus you can go that route. I also have owned a Springfield Armory GI model. Loved it, shouldn't have sold it, but I am still... "young (23)" so I can still learn.

If you think that none of these guns fit the bill, then do a wise and sound investment into: ammo. Costs of ammo is sky rocketing. Stock up now with all you can.

I also like to consolidate my calibers. It makes sense for me because I reload. So, if you are in the mood for a new gun, get a gun that shoots the same caliber as another one of yours. Makes buying bulk ammo a lot easier and maybe reloading in your future easier also.

I dont wanna reload, I dont have space for it, Airguns are illegal here, tiny revolvers dont appeal to me, etc etc etc...

BUT I think I will look into the rock island armory 1911 tactical. Seems like good item for fair price.

I hope the .22 conversions can fit the rock island 1911.... :)

Your collection kinda resembles mine. My next one will be a large caliber (.357 or .44) revovler.....Really like the Rugers

Gents ! I filed a "purchase authorization" for the 1911 idea.

Thanks for the help , I look forward to ..er... asking the same question again in about 5 months ! :D

Here's a few ideas I have:

NAA 22mag black widow

keltec PLR-16

CZ-52(shoots the 7.62x25 tokarev)

Anything that shoots 10mm

Time for a rifle or shotgun, seems to me.

I guess if you want to stick with handguns, and want a real target shooter, it's time for a Sig P210, a Sig 226 X-Five, or SW Perf. Ctr 952. Or of course, as mentioned, a nice 1911 style. They're the best target shooters, arguably, due to the great trigger.

I don't anticipate ever being in a shoot out as I am not a LEO nor a Drug Lord.

S&W 637 .38 for light weight general CCW

Keltec P32 .32 ACP for high concealability and lightweight.
So you're telling us you carry the M637 and the P-32, right?
I'm in New York City.
I lived in NY City for 48 years and I know a little something about this city. The statement you made in the first quote I put up really doesn't go well with the statement in the second quote.

What gives?? Are you for real or are you playing us?
