I just bought a pound of CFE 223. I can't seem to find any info on what type of primer to use. It's a ball powder so I would think use mag primers. Load is for .22-250 Rem with 55gr Nosler Varmagedon bullets. Anyone have any experience with this powder? Thanks.

I was actually challenged by a club member today, to run a small, rather un-scientific test with some I've just purchased - I'm going to run 10 rounds of each:
.223 Rem/ IMR 4895
.223 Rem/ CFE 223
.22-250/ Varget
.22-250/ CFE 223
I was going to begin with a clean barrel each time, and then look over the number & condition of the cleaning patches, and see how it turned out. If I can make anything out of it, I'll let you guys know!

it's 22-250. use any large rifle primer you want. everyone has a preference.
