You and a friend are driving along a road near a beach (you are driving), on the outskirts of the "downtown" district. It's pretty late, around 1 am and not many people are out. Suddenly a woman comes running up to the side of the street (on the passenger side of the car and also the side the beach is on) frantically waving her arms for you to stop...

I'll post what happened next after some people respond.

This could be one of two things: A person needing help, maybe badly. Or you are being setup, you will be robbed after you get out of the car.

Keeping my Ram 1500 in 'D' in case I have to evade, I would have my friend roll the window down part way to try and find out what the females issue/problem is. The G27 would be in my lap. If my friend is armed in this scenario, hopefully he has his weapon unholstered as well. My cell always rides in my cup holder tray within easy reach. I keep my C2 in the center console.

If I decided that the female was in serious danger, I would have her jump in the back seat of the Ram and drive to a safe place and call the Police/Medics. If I get even a hint that she is shady I would drive a few blocks away and notify the Police. I would light her up with the Surefire before letting her in my vehicle....

Actually had this happen a few years ago.

Buddy and I were out driving around, just hanging out, when we noticed a woman running away from a bar with a bunch of people chasing her.

We could tell that she wasn't armed (by her mode of dress, there wasn't any place she could hide any weapons ;) ), and she seemed pretty distressed, so we stopped, and gave her a ride. Just in case, we had some pepper spray out.

Guess somehow she pissed off some people, and they were going after her, she didn't have a wallet, money or anything on her, and was waiting for a friend to pick her up to drive her home, but he hadn't shown up yet. So we drove her to her home and dropped her off.

Funny aspect of the story though, it turns out that she owned an "escort" company :what: (no we didn't do anything with her), but when we dropped her off at her house, she ran inside, grabbed $20 and came back out and gave it to us for our troubles.

First time in history that a hooker paid a motorist.

I stopped the car and left it in D with my foot on the brake, just in case. My friend's window was already rolled down. He asked her what the problem was. She told us that she and her husband had lost their keys on the beach and were locked out of their car. Behind her, a man was walking towards us down a side street that leads to the beach.

What do you do now?
