Where to shoot auto near Tigard/Oregon?

I'll be on a business trip to Tigard/Oregon in the beginning of September. Living in Europe, normally I don't have any chance to experience shooting automatic weapons. I have been googleing for a while, trying to find out where near Tigard I could experience such a thing, but up to now have not found anything. Can anyone please give me some hints, or point me to seomewhere I could ask for this?

I live in Beaverton and literally my backyard is the line between Beaverton and Tigard. As far as ranges that rent full-auto's I dont know of any. But if your looking to just shoot some semi-auto's with a fellow THR'r let me know and we will see if we can make it happen.

I don't know of any near Tigard, but it seems as though I remeber hearing about a couple down near my end of the state. Albany Rifle and Gun Club does a full auto shoot once a year, don't know if they rent or not. It seems I recall there's a place in Eugene...
See if you can find Rocketman, he might have an idea, or possibly Jeepmor, he's up that way if I recall....

It's a slight drive from Tigard, but the Public Safety Training Center does offer rentals of an XM-4 (Full auto M4 variant in .223) and an MP5. The only caveat is that you must do a tutorial with a range officer before being able to rent them on your own, and those tutorials are usually only offered on one Sunday a month. However, I've found that the staff there are very friendly and polite, and if you call them and explain your situation, they may be willing to arrange a tutorial for you at other than the regular time. Try the Barons Den in Eugene. Not too far for a weekend drive down It's about an hour and a half or so from Tigard.

@kd7nqb: Also thanks a lot for your nice offer. Since I don't have the privilege to travel the US very often, and at home I can shoot semi autos as well (handguns you mean, right?), I'll probably try my luck on the mentioned ranges. But, if you're interested, maybe you would like to join me in going there

To be a bit more specific on what I am looking for: I have quite a bit of experience with hand guns, but not yet had any chance to try how I fare with a semi-auto combat rifle, assault rifle or submachine gun - maybe even a WW2 gun. I am simply looking to take just a few shots with such a gun, which is almost impossible to experience here in Europe due to the rather strict gun laws. It's just for the (safe!) fun of it.

Anyway, I'll be sure to post my experiences here afterwards. The only time I have been to the US up to now (in California) I did not have the chance to do any shooting, since the only range that I could locate had a policy of not letting any non-US citizen handle any guns, unless accompanied by a US citizen. They had some very ugly experience with some person that was weary of life, and chose to end it there on their range with a rented gun. So after this tragic event these rules were created.
