A Commander is about as big as I care to wear for long even in a good belt holster.

My 3 would be:
1.S&W 340PD .357 Mag snubby
2.Glock 36 .45 ACP
3.S&W 686P .357 Mag 2.5" barrel
Lived in the Golden State for several years. Would love to return if conditions improve.
If I had to live there , it would mean someone has a gun to my head
but I'll play along , Sig P238 (small) S&W1911 (big) S&W 19 357mag (bigger)
but first they need to get rid of there EPA , , there 55mph for tow vehicles , and make English the language of the land and ,,,, oh never mind , not going !
Nothing wrong with being bi-lingual.
I've never had a problem getting by with just English when I was there.
Also, the air has been cleaned up significantly by the smog laws there, and that's good for everyone. Not saying regulations aren't annoying.
Talk to an old timer and they will tell you the air sucked in the 60's and 70's.
Bi-lingual ? more like quad-lingual , I don't even run my CB when I'm on I-5 anymore , and I only go as far as WA and OR, and being Bi-lingual cost the state money , but CA don't seam to care , much like how they don't seam to care about the 2nd amendment
you're right clean air is good , but there EPA is way overboard , lead free bullets :banghead:, and a ton of other things that are off topic for this thread , but I will ad this , they're broke for a reason , just bad gov at it's best,
anyway my 3 gun pick would be ok there , but I don't think I would ever get use to pre-pay gas LOL
The lead free bullet thing is only for hunting in the condor zone. It doesn't apply for plinking or self defense. Or hunting outside the condor zone.
Sorry Purple, you are wrong. Read the law. Don't stop reading as soon as you see the word "Condor." You will find this:
"Except as provided in subdivision (j), and as soon as is practicable as implemented by the commission pursuant to subdivision (i), but by no later than July 1, 2019, nonlead ammunition, as determined by the commission, shall be required when taking all wildlife, including game mammals, game birds, nongame birds, and nongame mammals, with any firearm."
Signed into law by Gov. Brown.
The condor zone is just the immediate ban, not the limit of the ban. They have authorization to ban hunting with lead ammo tomorrow and a deadline in 2019. I have read that the ban may go in effect for the 2015 hunting season.
When I lived there it was limited to what I said previously. I've never lived there under Gov. Brown.
it's too crowded here as it is!
so are most of the western states , like UT , CO , MT , OR , but then again OR has some messed up laws there that would keep me from moving there too , like no barbed hooks for fishing , , and they don't even let you pump your own gas , yep it's a law ! the great thing about my job is that I get to go all over this great country , And if I had to move ,gun laws would be up there but not at the top of my list , but any state that wants to know what I have or tells me what ammo I may use , is a deal breaker , and for those that live there , keep up the good fight ,It is beautiful, maybe I should stop talking about that so it doesn't get more crowded
Sorry to stray off topic!
