Which 5.56/.223 rifle?

I didn't vote the poll because my choices weren't listed.

Mini-14 with good mags and something bolt action, such as a M11 Savage in .223 and add a Williams Foolproof with target knobs.

AR15/M16 are good rifles? Tell that to a lot of dead US Marines. Tell that to how many guys who had their rifles fail and survived to get M-14s. I'll take a Garand type action every time.

That's why there's the choice for "Other."

Duke of Lawnchair: I guess due to the popularity contest, Dionysusigma is going to be purchasing an AR15 variant.

Maybe... or I might just be tuning out the votes for an AR-15, and looking at the next few popular ones. Or not. I don't know. That's why it's a poll.

My first impulse was to vote for AR(of course ), but since your looking for other input, I voted Arsenal AK. Ever since this thread, I always thought a .223 ak would be neat:
