MAYBE on the Turkish guns, some are VERY well made, some are definitely crab apples. I own a S&W SxS made in Turkey - AWESOME gun with details that rival some of the best from Spain and the US; other makers however can rival the cheapest junk from China. It is my understanding that the 930 is not US made, so correct me if I am incorrect

Mossberg is USA made FWIW.

In your opinion did I list most of the properly budgeted guns in this range?

I don't know enough to answer that question. My statement regarding cost vs. quality is a generalized one referring to many genres of interest... not about semi-auto shotguns, or any firearms, in particular.

I have owned an 1100 for about 50 years, ditto my 700 30-06. Both have given me a lifetime of shooting and hunting joy. What more can one want? I also went out and bought a Tristar Raptor. I love it for its HD purpose. I trust it with 00Buck or 000Buck.

Good point I am young so I like that appeal. Question being do they make the 1100 as well now as when you bought yours..? I personally doubt it.

Xtrema2 used

I will look into it.
