The new 1911 still hasn't arrived yet but I'm already exploring accessory options. The gun in question is a Les Baer Premier II in stainless steel. I've always liked the classy look of a stainless 1911 with either ivory or pearl style grips. I can't afford to spend several hundred bucks on ivory grips and I also don't want cheapo fake pearl grips. I want something that's comfortable too, aggressive checkering is a no no for my soft hands. I was also considering some light wood, maybe something by Hakan Pek. Alumagrips are a possibility, but they look uncomfortable. I want to avoid black grips, I like light colored grips on a stainless gun.
This gun is going to be my pride and joy handgun of my collection, but not a safequeen. It may get carried so I want grips that are nice and presentable but also that function well.
Pics and links would be great Help a fellow forumite part with his money, it seems that's what we're always best at
