I work with people who can't believe I'm a hardcore gunnut but I don't hunt. I've been asked if I have fantasies about going on shooting sprees. I've been asked if my wife is terrified of me. I've been asked if I enjoy shooting neighborhood cats and dogs. I've been asked if I've ever commited a violent crime and if I was sent to prison. Bliss-ninnies just don't get it. They've been brainwashed by the "Guns are evil" media.
Yes, I would end the animal's suffering as quickly and humanely as possible. I take no pleasure in ending an animals life, but I would feel terrible letting it suffer.
