Which Taurus 44 mag???

I always liked Taurus and want to get a Taurus 44. Now which one would should I consider?

Taurus Model 44
Taurus Tracker 44
Taurus Raging Bull

Depends on the purpose.

If I intended to mount a scope I'd get the RB, it is the heaviest/strongest of the three and designed for the hunter. The 6 shot 44 is a nice S&W N frame clone that serves well for open sight hunting/plinking. The tracker is a 5 shot that weighs less making it ideal for an occasional plinking/trail gun (although the porting can be loud). If I didn't have a specific purpose in mind and just wanted a 44, I'd pick up whichever was on sale!

Looks like a choice between the Model 44 and Raging Bull. Buds Gun Shop has them at $411 & $416 respectively. How's the strength of the Model 44?

Recomend the Tracker model, but its only a five shot.

If you intend to carry it sometime in a holster this one would fill the bill.

Also recomend some Hogue grips as they fit the hand better than the factory fat palm ribbed ones.
