I find the 10s jab my ribs too much. 8s work good for me.
That's why I carry with an 8-rounder in the gun, and reload with 10 rounders, if needed.I find the 10s jab my ribs too much. 8s work good for me.
Sensible plan. That's why I carry with an 8-rounder in the gun, and reload with 10 rounders, if needed.
Nope; following your reasoning I thought you were being generous. He would have gotten a D- from me. Of course, I'm not a college professor...
I believe what you say but would never expect someone to shoot a DA revolver as well as a SA semi-auto pistol. My 9mm 1911 cut my revolver groups sizes in half. The 1911 trigger is peerless.I have quite a few of both. I like revolvers better and shoot them better... or maybe it's vice-versa.
If I take a few nice centerfire revolvers and centerfire service pistols to the range, I will shoot the revolvers better every time.
Maybe it's because I'm middle-aged and grew up shooting them.
Here's some gratuitous revolver porn. I got this S&W 625 recently. It sure is one sweet shooter.
Over about 5 inches the longer the barrel on a revolver, the worse I shoot. I can’t keep the gun on target when it is front heavy.I usually cock the hammer and shoot them single-action. Another cheat/hack is barrel length. My favorite revolvers all have barrels at least 6" long, with a couple of 7.5" and an 8 3/8" thrown in for good measure. With one of my Glocks or Berettas or whatever I do okay. But when I pull out something like the Super Blackhawk, it suddenly looks like I really know what I'm doing.
