Has anyone ever dealt with or ordered anything from Widener's before? I just recently found their site and have noticed that their prices are extremely competitive compared to other companies such as Midway, Sinclair, etc. I would like to know how they rate as far as the speed of delivery is as well as customer service.

They are a good company. I have bought tons of stuff from them. That should say a lot as I also sell bullets for reloading. Their rifle bullet prices easily beat mine, but I can usually compete in pistol bullets. In my experience they take longer to ship than midway and brownell's but only by a couple of days. I prefer widener's over midway though. Prices are usually better. I just sell bullets, but if you are interested try the link in my signature.

Well that makes me feel a little better. Think I'm going to order a powder measure off of them as it is the best deal I have seen anywhere. More replies about them would be great. Thanks.

Man, have I spent a metric buttload of money at Wideners. They have competitive prices and they deliver fast. The do not do backorders - if they sell it on their web site, they have it and they ship it ASAP.

They are by far one of my favorite reloading supply vendors.

Widners and Graff & Sons are two of my go to suppliers when I need something. They are reasonable with shipping and if I need it fast UPS 3 day select is the best deal.

I've dealt with them for years, and I ordered some surplus military bullets from them a few years back and had a problem with different types of bullets in the 1000 I bought (supposed to be all the same). I called, the lady was very apologetic and sent a prepaid return pack and re-shipped the correct lot immediately. Based on that, I have no problem with continuing to do business with them.

Well, just placed my order with them 2 minutes ago. Thanks for the replies and we shall see how the order does. I got a Redding 3br powder measure and some bullets. The powder measure price was far better than what I could find elsewhere, especially the one with both metering chambers.

I've begun buying bullets, powder, and the Wolf 223 primers from Widener's, good prices, good service. I think they are a great outfit.:)

Good outfit. Fast as Midway for me on order turnaround and arrival. Customer service has been even better - email them a question or give them a call and see how quickly and nicely they respond.

I've also had good experiences with the Wideners, Powder Valley & Grafs. Two other great online places are Midsouth Shooters Supply and Kempf's Gun Shop.

They're local to me & I used to buy everything there from their retail outlet. They've closed that and local pickups are permitted only 2 days a week now. Plus, the don't have much in stock like everyone else.

Service has always been great and they have a pretty large warehouse facility.

I'm hoping the get stocked up again so I can stop paying for shipping and haz-mat charges. :>)

I concur with Hesenwine. I hope they re-open their retail store someday. While I'm not local, I have relatives who live somewhat close by and I've enjoyed browsing the shelves when I've been in the area.

I've been a mail-order customer for about 4 years or so now and have no complaints about their prices or service. They've been slower than usual filling orders lately, but that is probably due to the panic buying that has been so prevalent since last year's election.
