Anyone know where I might be able to find disassembly instructions for a Winchester 1912?
The shotgun belonged to my son's maternal great grandfather and will now be passed on to him in a few years.
The gun is in very good shape considering it was bought new in 1913 and I'd like to keep it that way.
I've owned and maintained many modern shotguns over the past forty or so years, but I don't want to try to take this gun apart until I'm positive I know what I'm doing. It looks very close to a Model 12 externally, but I'm not sure of any internal differences.
Google doesn't come up with much that will help...any suggestions?
