I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can find test data on this load? I know the WWB jhp's don't often get mentioned alot when self defense rounds are mentioned and was wondering why this is? I figure they are $28 or so for 50rds so I can practice with what I'd be carrying. And also out of my gun a 2 1/2inch SP101 is there a huge difference in a 125gr. vs. a 110gr. jhp for self defense in the .357 magnum loads? I ask as the 125gr. stuff like the golden sabers or the hydrashoks are expensive.

I think it gets a little crazy the way some folks stress on defense ammo. You aren't hunting bear! If you put a 3/8" hole in the chest of a dude 15 feet away, travelling at around 1,000 feet per second, I think you will get his attention. The 110 grain load generates less recoil than the heavier stuff and hence "personal defense". Practice with them, so you can put them where they will do the most good.
